I Would Really Rather Be Fishing!

What do you think about that as a way to begin this new little adventure. Everything new in life is an adventure. I refuse to look at it any other way. You'd better know I love life and the challenges of each new day. It's just good to be alive and enjoy what life has to offer.

I am not naive. There are many bumps. I have had a few in the last 48 hours. Sleep has been fleeting. A couple of emergencies have kept me hopping. An eight hour stretch behind bars kept the situation absolutely free from boredom. It is most difficult to become bored when you spend most of your time celebrating living.
What is my philosophy of life, you might ask? Well, let me tell you. Right there alongside living you will always find people. Yeah, that's right. People are the most spectular individuals I have ever met. I've never met a person I didn't find interesting. J. came running into group this morning with sleep in his eyes but with a wide-eyed look that was pleasing.

"Where have you been," I asked. Having completed 25+ years behind bars, he is getting ready to go home. I think he's ready.

Even at 6:00 a.m. J. is interesting. His arrival was about an hour late today. We will do a 1 on 1 next week. I'm looking forward to that. Better skip the fishing this week. h
